Meet Dr. Arianne Missimer

Dr. Arianne Missimer is a Functional Medicine Practitioner, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Registered Dietitian, and Mindfulness Instructor, as well as the owner of the Movement Paradigm Integrative Health Center in the Philadelphia area. She is a STRONG Fitness Magazine cover athlete and serves on its advisory board, in addition to being a columnist for the magazine. She is also a Medical Educator for Rupa Health and one of only 2,500 globally certified practitioners through the Institute of Functional Medicine. Recognized as an award-winning leader in health and wellness, Dr. Missimer has been featured on ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC and is an international speaker, including TEDx.

Dr. Missimer’s passion for health and movement was deeply shaped by personal loss. After her brother’s passing from cancer, she made a promise to dedicate her life to helping others never take their health for granted. However, her journey took an even more profound turn when she was diagnosed with stage 3 liposarcoma. This experience fueled her deep exploration into the impact of trauma, nervous system regulation, and root-cause medicine, reinforcing her commitment to a truly holistic approach to patient care.

As an author, Dr. Missimer shares her journey in her book Rise Up, inspiring and empowering others to heal. Her life's work is dedicated to helping individuals take control of their health, build resilience, and thrive—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
